The visual arts major cracks me up...I'm glad he hid his face, because SURELY his idiotic YouTube video is watched by millions and he might offend the wrong person!
I know some people don't like these, but Cal's cleverly edited compilation vidshizzles offer a guilty-pleasure view into students being themselves, not their school selves.
I don't want to see MY students, of course, but I like knowing that they all have such full lives outside of class!!! The high drama! Love it.
There's a comment on the YouTube page that hosts this video about how this video ridicules students.
I can't say that I agree with that, and in nearly every case I've always felt that I was in part celebrating students. I love students. I find them fascinating, and I consider it a real gift to get to teach them. I envy their youth and innocence. I may be lightly spoofing them for the same things, but I hate how some interpret my intent.
Perhaps I'm just doing my job poorly, but how can anyone think something like Dorm Dancin' is made out of anything other than love?
