He always found some reason to overrule me. Sometimes, they do that. <br /><br />Unfortunately, this doesn't always work for me. I don't put up with bullshit, but students don't always get that message and sometimes are too obtuse or too belligerent to let it drop when they realize that I don't negotiate on deadlines or other such policies.
