CM Housecleaning Notice...

More and more, it seems, people are leaving "draft" posts unpublished on the CM blogger site. These are sometimes clearly abandoned items, like "I get so mad when..." and then nothing else.

But other times they are nearly complete and wonderful posts.

In some cases people have not hit PUBLISH POST, and days pass before they realize it didn't appear. I occasionally write folks to tell them, but that feels like I'm nagging them. The super short ones I feel like I can delete, but I have not done that yet because I imagine the author may come back to it to finish. (Of course there's one from July 15th...that one's dead, right?)

If you do leave a draft post online for a while and decided to finish it and publish, make sure you update the date, otherwise it will go into the archives on the date you started it, and it will be several pages back in the queue.
