Wait a minute. I thought you were just copying the cartoons from another site and posting here for us to see. Are they your own creation? If so,
Holy Crap! That's really good stuff! Defintely publishable. Remember us when you are hanging out with Scott Adams and other high flying comic strip artists.
On the Academic "Socialist Utopia": This hoary trope may have been in the public consciousness since the McCarthy period, but the person I blame for renewing it in the last 30 years is Charles Sykes, in his 1988 book "ProfScam." Even though Sykes was a Journalism professor, he cranked out a book claiming that academics were ruining the campus by not teaching their full load, teaching junk courses, and ruining the science department by moonlighting as industry consultants. The last chapter must have been photocopied and sent to every deam and board of trustees, because it demands a "no tenure" university (among other things.) As for Sykes himself, he no longer teaches; he is now a syndicated AM radio ranter.
I predict a book deal for Samantha.
ReplyDeleteSamantha needs a web site for her collection (if she doesn't already have one).
