I really needed one of these today. My potential lipdubbing-but-probably-too-lazy students have gotten under my skin, and this just takes the edge off.
And, what's with the Canadian content! Two posts in a row AND the maple leaves, eh?
I liked the addition of the French chanting at the end, too, which captures something of the spirit of UQAM, a Francophone institution. Imagine the scenes pervaded by the scent of pot smoke for the full being-there effect. :-)
It was pretty good. I wish my students would work as hard on their classes as they do on these. But I agree with Darla. The Calvin College one is better. The lighting was better. Plus there was a one-to-one correspondence between lips moving and voices heard.
sigh ... wish I worked at a university that enrolled students with just half that much energy, imagination and willingness to take it to the limit. Instead, oatmeal, just oatmeal, day in, day out, oatmeal.
