Today's issue of Inisde Higher Ed had decent blog about student evaluations. The blogger argued that professors should be able to evaluate students in addition to just assigning grades. Then he had this genious idea: "Heck, let’s even set up a Rate My Students website." Why hadn't anyone thought of that before?

ReplyDeleteFor the record, I years ago suggested a RYS version of the RMP website - ratings and all - which was shot down by the then-moderators as "a common suggestion" but one that they "had no interest in pursuing."
ReplyDeleteIt's just a matter of time before some disgruntled prof takes the plunge and builds it though.
And one day, Richard, you may get over the sting. Not yet, as is apparent from the tone of your sad Christmas Eve comment.
