coffee, enough sleep--still blue.
endlessly grading.


II.

ungraded essays
sit like the unwanted gifts
aunt edwina gave.


III.

gray, cold rain. stubborn,
dying semester. useless
meetings. weeping soul.

  3. I also enjoyed Aunt Edwina.

    If you find a way to finish this semester off, Greta (and/or Cynic), please let us know. A holly stake, perhaps? That would be appropriately festive, and relatively easy to procure at this time of year. I admit it's partly my fault (I'm behind on final grading), but, even after I get grades in, my semester is showing signs of becoming undead -- requests for incompletes are popping up in my inbox with considerably more frequency than usual.
