Stupid Snowflake is Stupid

My student missed her exam. I'm kind, I gave her a paper as a make-up assignment. It's on the syllabus that way, too.

Then, she asks me: "I was wondering if i am still allowed to do the missed exam question earn back that is posted"

Ummm ... no exam = no exam questions to earn back points on!

    Oh, vey. They seem to have a Pavlovian response to any way to earn points *other* than the major exams/assignments listed on the syllabus. If a school offered a major in "extra credit," I suspect it would be very popular.
