CM, I have that problem even with logging into Blogger/Google's system. I am active on several blogs so I use different handles. Commenting under the wrong name here is a little tricky. With Blogger, I could just delete the comment immediately. If Disqus doesn't allow a commenter to delete their entry, that could be a serious problem.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could delete all the text in your comment. At least nobody would see what you wrote, although they would see that you wrote something. That's no different than Blogger's systems we used previously.
ReplyDeleteHi Ben. I agree that it is not ideal. One reader wrote to me last night saying he has 2 distinct logins for things, and he always uses Firefox for one and Chrome for the other. That way his settings and logins stay saved in whatever browser he's in. Intriguing idea, I think.
