All, I have respectfully followed some of the recent discussions about links vs. original posts on this glorious group blog of ours. I'm on the fence about that matter. Nevertheless, since I've been appointed to my first official university committee, I have to spend all of my free time creating initiatives and setting goals and building frameworks, all of which leaves me little blogging time. So today you get links.
Link the First: a recent post from Crooked Timber about public school, accommodations, etc.
Link the Second: a related NYT article on public school, accommodations, etc.
Link the Third: a follow-up post from Crooked Timber about public school, accommodations, etc.
Link the Fourth: a picture of a kitten
Since two of those links are to Crooked Timber, I fully understand if you don't have, like, the rest of your lives to read the entirety of the posts. If you need to skim, rest assured that you can skip the comments, where all of the commenters are either gazing up starry-eyed at the brilliance of the writer or are busy calling each other trolls.
And, of course, the duck, to the kitten has a friend.
ReplyDeleteDr. N, N, do a search for "linked articles" for the entire history of this topic. :o) http://collegemisery.blogspot.com/search?q=linked+articles.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for the link to the duck, otherwise I was going to go medieval on someone...
ReplyDeleteCreating initiatives? What about incentivizing learning outcomes? Don't forget incentivizing learning outcomes.
