ReplyDeleteCollege really started this weekend for me. All the stuff about students and grades are just my job.
ReplyDeleteI was briefly confused, too, since I have a few relatives with whom I'm in facebook-touch who are fanatical buckeye fans (despite not being college graduates themselves -- yes, I find this a bit confusing, but, on consideration, I think it simply illustrates that football teams really have little connection to their universities for many people, perhaps especially in towns that don't have pro franchises).
ReplyDeleteI'll have to remember not to get my sports news from CM (which means I'll go back to getting no sports news that doesn't make NPR or the front page of the local newspaper, which is fine with me).
I am going out on a limb here. If I understand this place like I like to think I do, and if the glorious RedHawks did indeed win Saturday, I see nothing stopping them from going undefeated all year. And, you know what, I'm all for that.
