The New CollegeMisery.com Twitter Feed Goes Live!

  1. I have been really upset and hurt by some of the comments a few folks have sent my way via the comments here and some direct Twitter links.

I was never attempting to harm this page or the delicate snowflakes. I certainly wasn't doing anything that I thought would hurt anyone's "reputation."

This post cracked me up, though. Thanks for understanding and for the nice note.

    1. I don't follow twitter, but had wondered where you'd gone, and since we haven't noticed that the delicate snowflakes have migrated to this blog from having followed twitter, why not keep doing what you were doing? It was funny and I'm sure the flakes found it 'inciteful.' :)

  4. I sometimes wonder if this is a group I belong in. Some folks mystify me. When people act like they don't LIKE what this page does, I wonder why they don't just go away. I really really don't get it.

I think it's cool CollegeMisery.com exists, but if I didn't like it or disagreed with how it represented the totally anonymous me, I'd just go somewhere else.

Everyone has to choose, of course; I just don't understand why this Twitter thing had to happen.

  5. Hi all. We're not taking applications to run the Twitter feed. Got a bunch of emails about people wanting to take over for Terry, including this one, "If they were nervous about Terry, you won't believe the righteous skewering I'll give the pissant 'flakes.'"

Yeah, I'm going to think on it a bit. If the CM feed continues, it'll just include links to our blog material. If I change my mind about it, I'll let you know through the blog.

  8. The duck usually saves us. Not today, maybe. Day's not over.
