In the tradition of Not Always Right, where the customer isn't always right, Not Always Learning is now there for a lot of the amusing snark aimed at students and faculty alike that was the mainstay of RYS and the original CM.

So if we can get our humor and snark fed elsewhere, is there anything left but bile and pity-party? And the tea-partying duck, of course.
Fun, and funny, but not very miserable, and it seems mostly more high school oriented. I liked the story of the Kenyan security guard/electrician, though.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to compare to College Misery as "Family Circus" does to, hmm. . .what edgier comic should go here?
Wondermark. http://wondermark.com/424/ Be sure to hover for the Easter egg final punchline.
DeleteIf Miserians like it, I could irregularly post a blog-compatible image with a link to that site.
Chicken Soup meets Reader's Digest....
ReplyDeleteYes! Though the story about the student's wife trying to get him the exam questions was worthy of an Xtranormal video with music by Cal.
DeleteCute and amusing, but lacks the cynicism and abject pathos that I so can relate to here.
ReplyDeleteThis is off topic, but I liked the font on like, Thursday or something.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing that nobody does not like, or something. There is never anything that someone doesn't like. I forget where I was going.
DeleteAnyone have any idea why the advertising widget wants to sell me a nice Filipino woman?
ReplyDeleteit's trying to sell me sofas.
DeleteI could probably use a sofa more than a Filipino woman.
DeleteIt's trying to seel me something called a 'sliderobe'. I think it's boring furniture, not a gown with a built-in emergency slide like they have on planes, or a robe specially designed for slip'n'slides...
DeleteI'm not edgy enough to get it...
ReplyDeleteIf you think that site is anything like RYS or "the original" CM, you haven't been paying attention.
ReplyDeleteIt lacks my all-encompassing rage.
