I'd very much like to have Mike as a colleague. But sadly, like the new hire (who I seem to remember eventually showed signs of working out better than expected), I'm not fond of heat and humidity. Especially given global warming, I'm far more inclined to move northward than southward (which I realize decreases my marketability, but then so do a number of other more important factors).
