Classic! Though I must say, the bottom left image looks a bit more sinister than usual to me today (I know the man pictured is an air traffic controller, but my first association was the pilot who apparently deliberately crashed the plane into the alps).
Thanks, Fab. I couldn't find it anywhere!! Love it.
Cassandra, that would be what the trolls think he's doing.
I thought it was the dean of Customer Retention and Pleasing, overseeing the new faculty ankle monitors. It's not at all sinister: they are fitted on the right.
I like EC1's hypothesis. It should probably be Assistant Dean of CRAP, but then we have title creep (is it only at my school that every new administrative hire -- including to positions carrying titles which were once considered pretty prestigious on their own -- seems to be a VP of something?).
And yes, Proffie G, that's quite true. If higher ed implodes in the next decade or so, it will clearly be the fault of the RGMs. Everything would have been just fine if we'd had a more positive attitude.
Hey, I think I'm a pretty positive guy. For example, I'm positive that a preponderance of ideas like "let's compose essay drafts within a 140-character limitation" would kill higher education.
