NEW YORK (AP) -- Charlie Sheen doesn't have a deal yet for a planned memoir, but a book of poems he self-published 20 years ago is a hot item on eBay.
Bidding for an initialed copy of "A Peace of My Mind," long out of print, had reached nearly $600 on the online auction website as of Friday afternoon.
The poems are as dark as any of his recent rants, including "A Thoughtless Soul," which includes the passage: "A night of drink/A night of hate/A night as dark,
As last night's date."
The former star of the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" has been reading from the book on his webcast, "Sheen's Korner."

ReplyDeleteThis is for you:

I could see a new show starring Charlie and Martin called "Shit My Son Says."
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun....Chuck has been comparing himself to Col. Kurtz, maybe they could re-enact "Apocalypse Now" in some botanical garden in LA.
ReplyDeleteOnly if I get to play Charlie Sheen's part, with Charlie taking Marlon Brando's place.
ReplyDelete@introvert.prof, you know that was Martin Sheen as the CIA agent, right?
ReplyDelete@Schmitty, oops. Memory gets foreshortened: Charlie in Platoon looked a lot like Martin in Apocalypse Now. Thanks for the correction.
ReplyDeleteMy comment stands... as long as I get to play Martin Sheen's part.
Poor Martin. He's one of the good guys; it must be awful to watch his son self-destruct so publicly.
