Jack Rappaport, M.S. rappapor@lasalle.edu Assistant Professor of Management Curriculum Vitae Faculty Profile Being a professor at LaSalle gives me a great deal of joy. I try to enrich my teaching by using interesting real life applications such as the use of the horse race betting market in the teaching of statistics. I am always working on research papers with many of my colleagues. I am an associate editor of a decision sciences journal. All this keeps me intellectually stimulated. |
Don't everybody rush to comment. This page is dead.
ReplyDeleteEven for amusement value I'd rather not see RMP here.
ReplyDeleteHe should have stuck to using horse race betting as a real world exemplar. Strippers, whores, escorts, etc. certainly can demonstrate some sort of economic theories, but isn't that a story you save for the cops?
ReplyDelete"Uh, yeah, officer, I was only getting a tug here at Norma's Japanese Massage to demonstrate the reciprocal business model."

ReplyDeleteA college professor wrote that? Forget strippers. He needs to hire a writing tutor...
ReplyDeleteI fell asleep reading his bio. A new definition of the phrase "intellectually stimulated" that I was unaware of.
