  1. HA! And I love the coloring in the panels. These look so great! Dr. Molly just keeps rocking on with her flowered skirt and boots!

Thanks, Hiram. I use Photoshop Elements, the cheap version. I use clip art I've found online for the figures and the "bubbles," then I put them in squares. I do the words in Photoshop using Comic Sans, and then I use various "fill" techniques with different colors to do the shading in individual panels. I did a bad job in the third panel in the crook of Molly's arm. It's too dark. It's been eating at me!!

All of the stuff I've done so far is based on actual conversations or moments from my "limited" teaching experience. I'm a veteran to many, perhaps, but still learning compared to my mentors, of whom I count dozens. Thanks for reading.

  2. I don't know you, Molly...But I KNOW you.

As one of my student says all the time, "I feel you..."

    XOXOXO

  3. Molly's got the right attitude: be kind, but don't get trapped into caring too much about whether students miss class for dubious reasons. It's their decision.

  7. Any chance we could get Molly syndicated? This could be academe's answer to 'Dilbert.'
