bad friday haiku (with apologies to theodore roethke)

I.

the rains come like the
tears i shed reading essays:
slow, steady, endless.

II.

the river rises,
carries away debris. my
office needs a flood.

III.

may brings rain and yet...
snowflakes from last semester
flurry, furry. grades.

IV.

the whiskey on your
breath makes this proffie dizzy;
snowflake, brush your teeth.

  1. Beautiful. Please don't ever stop, your haikus always brighten my day.

    This is meant as a
    compliment. There is no snark
    implied in this post.
