Who among us will inadvertently help some 'flake win this bullshit contest?
The flava's below. Actually, it's not really flava, it's pretty much the whole thing.
"What's the craziest $@*! your teacher or prof has said? We want to know! Reply to this thread and you'll be entered into the contest! You'll have the chance to win one of five (1/5) Cdn $100 cash prizes!"

Sure the prize is in Canadian dollars, but it's been more or less on par with the American peso lately.
Fuck it, let's enter it ourselves. Hiram, send in something from your stupid colleague, and we'll all buy Yaro-themed tote bags with our winnings.

My colleague once said "You always do the patient from behind", when innocently (truly!) describing how to perform an orthopedic physical exam. I was sitting in the back of the room, as I was to help with the lab component and I could not stop laughing.
ReplyDeleteHe then went on to say, when referring to an adhesive capsulitis, "sometimes you just can't get it up". As I wasn't done laughing from the last comment, this one set me (and the rest of the classroom) into laughter again.
ReplyDeleteha, I almost hope one of my students enters me. Just this past week one guy was whining about having to come to class even though he had turned his last assignments in on time and the next ones weren't due for awhile. "But why do I have to staaaaaaay?" he whined, being intentionally dramatic.
ReplyDeleteI looked right at him and deadpanned, "Because I'm a bitch," and walked away. He, and the rest of the class, apparently found this comedy gold. Heh.
My Little Proffie = My Little Hero!
ReplyDeleteWhen describing the difficulty of my exams, I once blurted out, "Attending class doesn't get you an A in my class. You can't just come. I'm not that easy."
ReplyDeleteAwkward.
MLP - you rock.
ReplyDeleteBB- niice. Sounds like something I might say on accident.
