What's next? Pacifiers 101?

Day 1: front row, center, a female student is diligently staying in the lines with her 64 Crayola set and a coloring book. I have to remind myself that I teach college-level classes.

That is all folks.

  1. There's a difference between college level classes and college level students.

  2. That would sound more bizarre to me, but there's a required pre-med class at my undergraduate institution that requires just that. It's the anatomy class.

  3. My professional-school, perfectionist over-achieving daughter does coloring books to relax. But not in class.

  4. Tell her not to try eating the crayons, because they all taste the same, like wax. (Discovering this was one of the earliest disappointments I can remember.)
