Now I'm feeling cheated because our clock doesn't go "ding" (it also doesn't keep accurate time, but that wasn't promised). But we do have fountains (at least two that I can think of), and some statues.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm pretty sure that somewhere in my university's budget is a large line item for exercycles (and similar devices) and very large pieces of plate glass for windows in front of which to position them. The dominant architectural motif for the newer residential areas on campus seems to be upscale hotel/gym/spa. Maybe we have those instead of laundry facilities.
Also, they forgot the .30 for faculty salaries (I'm assuming the administration absorbs most of the "standard wasted money fee." Or maybe that's the athletic department?)
