Fuck Me. I Missed the RateYourStudents Anniversary.

Pretend it's Sunday, okay? 8 Years ago "today," The Professor started Rate Your Students with this simple message:

Welcome!


As we begin, let's be clear. Rating students and professors is a gigantic waste of energy and time. But as long as Ratemyprofessor.com continues to operate mostly unmoderated and with no real intention of limiting anonymous attacks from anyone who'd like to log in, we will operate over here on our little site.

We will rate our students here. And we will do it without compunction. Then we'll just see where we're at. We'll still be poor academics. But at least those callous and ignorant ‘customers’ of ours will know what it's like. What we believe here is that if it's little, you say it's little.

    I love this tradition of waiting a day or two to celebrate. It probably adjusts for inflation anyway. ;)

    I love the directness and brevity of this founding statement. And if it's little, we say it's little is a beautiful motto.

    Indeed, but I love the RYS motto, too, and didn't "don't care more" come from RYS as well?

    The great Terry P(orter), aka Gordon Presto, originated the CM motto in April of 2011. I think. It's the first appearance I can find.
