There was nothing wrong with that video.
You know, it's not my blog. But I feel like a tiny investor in the project. When posts get taken down, it seems that the page is giving up its right to be anonymous and unfettered. We're supposed to be irreverent, right? Nobody in that video said dating students was good, or that there isn't tragedy in sexual predators. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I also watched that video and saw nothing "triggering" or anything suggesting condoning profs dating students - it was a mix of social media clips (including students expressing their outrage/disgust/bewilderment that fellow students would date a prof) and TV media clips, that seemed like a reasonable cross-sectional collection of what you'll find out there in terms of commentary about prof-student relations. Is this a topic that is now totally out-of-bounds? Really? (and I am speaking while still roiling at the prospect that the whole Jian Ghomeshi scandal is now starting to find its way into various journalism internship programs throughout central Canadian universities)
