  1. You ganked my Nando post!

(Just for the old-timers; Third Tier Reality is still posting angry screeds about law school and what a scam it all is; Nando [the site owner] has said that he is getting ready to stop posting and just leave it as a monument to scambloggery, BUT HE KEEPS WRITING!)

    1. I'm sorry. I didn't see how it had anything to do with the post. My apologies. Perhaps you'd like to write about Nando in a separate post? He actually gets a ton of hits, so maybe just post your thoughts on his page. Good luck.

    2. I posted the original for the few people left who remember Nando when he tried to talk to people here and didn't fit in.....we need to have a memorial to all the former posters, trolls, and related ranters.

    3. Not ALL of them. LOL. Nando gets a ton of traffic, and I'm sure anyone looking to feel bad about law school will have already found him.

  2. Adjunct salaries (from the adjunct project, which is crowd-sourced, so data may be incomplete):

Alabama (Tuscaloosa): $2500-4200 English; highest $5,000 (law(!))

Oregon: $3000 English; highest $6,000 (History and Environmental Sciences)

Florida State: $2800-3000 English; highest History ($4200)

Ohio State; no data for English; assorted Arts & Humanities mostly in the $3200-$4700 range (with a few outliers, including $988 for what I hope was a very short music course); highest in unspecified department ($6580)

    Wonder what the coaches make?

    1. Thanks for that, Cassandra. I didn't know my college's numbers, Ohio, mediocre regional campus. English is $3400. My Math pal (I do know people in other disciplines) say they pay almost $4k a section, and most of those people get a guarantee of 3 sections.

  3. Ohio Statehas the best stats of the bunch in these categories:

    83% graduate within six years
71% of financial need met (average)
    92% Returning for sophomore year
    19:1 Student-faculty ratio

That makes them the better option, to me.
