Two Wiseacres Came Up With Similar Ideas...They are Both On My Shit List.

Q: Hey, what gives? No Big Thirsty? How about a Big Thirsty that asks: What was so shitfire important that Fab and his endless supply of sitting around time couldn't cobble together one goddamned question of import? Smoke that.

Q: How about a Big Thirsty for that bastard Cal (a Canadian!) that wonders if the compound is so fueled by a Moosehead beer orgy in the aftermath of the cheating Toronto Blue Jays beating God's own baseball team, the Rangers, that they forgot to come up with a simple question today.

  1. Most Canadians I know wouldn't cross the street to drink MoosePiss at home (even if it does mean passing up a good orgy).

    1. If you think that stuff was bad, there was a major Canadian brewery made a horrid brew about 40 years ago. It was the subject of a rather rude joke involving a canoe....

    2. That wiseacre obviously knows squat about Toronto.
Those urban poshos would definitely be sipping on some Mill Street Organic Lager.
      Moosehead? Pffffttt.

  2. YES! Didn't know the Ragners made it to the playoffs!

    2. I was kind of hoping for the Ragners to face the Astors in the LCS. Oh well.

    3. I was looking forward to the return of the Bleu Jasy - Sexpo rivalry, or perhaps The Monkees vs. The Gnats, but I'd also watch the Monkees go head-to-head with the Loyars.

    4. Wiseacres? Is that some European team?

    5. I think it's to do with crop rotation.

    6. Or perhaps crop circles? Intelligence from the aliens?

  3. And in the time it took to write a complaining/insulting email, they could have written an email containing a proposed actual thirsty, and sent it in. Reminds me (not for the first time) of some students.

    1. When I was a postdoc, there was a grad student in the department who was fearless in dealing with the profs who would reply-all to department-wide emails about the weekly seminar series, complaining that they were unhappy to have their inboxes be filled with 'nonsense.' The grad student would reply "It probably took you about a minute or two to compose this email, in reply to my email, which was clearly titled "Departmental seminar this week". It would probably take you about 0.3 seconds to simply hit 'Delete' when you see an email titled "Departmental seminar this week". Something to think about."

  4. What brand of beer were the fans throwing?

    1. It was mostly Bud and Bud Lite. In other words, lousy American beer.
Just telling it like it is.

  5. Come now, kids. Canadians don't have orgies. They're too polite.

  6. Moosehead is the largest Canadian owned brewery and has about 4% of the eastern market and about 7.5% of the market in the western provinces.

    1. Here in Alberta, a number of regional beers, such as Big Rock, are popular.

On the other hand, I've been a homebrewer for over 20 years. I make the best lager in town!
