Speaking of staplers, did anybody else notice that there actually was a stapler attach in the news a week or so ago? While the target body part was different (and a bit more accessible in average conditions), of course I thought of Frod.
"attach"="attack" above, of course. There seems to be some logic to how my brain (doesn't) work(s) these days, but the (dis)connection between fingers and brains is still a bit baffling at times. Got any meds to share with me, Frod? I promise I won't tell Bubba.
I thought "stapler attach" was a happy accident that suggested a movie title, "Attach of the Killer Staplers." You see, they don't attack in the conventional sense; they're much more stealthy and wreak their havoc by attaching things to other things most inconvenient, thereby causing death of a sort regarded as quite hilarious by onlookers.
Indeed. There is a whole roster of people I miss, and devoutly hope have escaped the misery (to sunnier pastures would, I suppose, be the appropriate metaphor in Maybelle's case) rather than succumbed to it.
Some of the major causes of hair loss are male pattern baldness, scalp injuries and hair thinning in women due to the natural aging process or hormonal imbalances. Hair transplant procedures are very common these days and can successfully restore lost hair. Results can vary from person to person, but it is definitely a great way to restore your appearance.

ReplyDeleteStella never did explain how her college's special rule that says they get an A if their proffie staples any part of them to the floor.
DeleteNotice the absence of twitching: the new meds are great!
(No, you may not have any, Bubba.)

All this time I've been losing hair willy-nilly. I didn't realize there was a PROTOCOL for losing hair.

We're academics. We don't share data. We either hide it away from prying eyes, or foist it upon the uninterested and unwilling. We never just share.
