What does Branford Marsalis think about students today?

Marsalis probably agrees with you.
And here's the vidshizzle to prove it.

It's not exactly dancing Mormon girls or lipdubbing foreigners, but it's not bad.

Grab some popcorn....

  3. @Reg W: Who pissed in your Cheerios? Did you notice that the previous post (from the CM Mod) was a RYS recycle... and the world didn't come to an end, did it? Send me your address, and I'll Fedex you a new box of Cheerios tomorrow. Better yet, post your own original Misery. I'll read it. It might make you feel better. Vent. Open a vein. Tell us about your day.

  4. @iahprg, the Latin version of "to be rather than to seem" used to be the motto of the school where I work. Then the suits in charge changed it to a bland, empty phrase used by at least one other school in the region. Now the lovely pillar containing the Latin inscription sits beside an athletic field, mostly hidden during the sports season by the portable toilet placed in front of it.

The RYS Flashback link and brief note was sent to me by a CM reader. I did choose to post it.

  6. @CM Mod: Thanks. I understood that.

Of course, my first comment made little sense after Reg W. deleted his own comment (which said, "Old. This was on RYS more than a year ago.")

Why do people delete their comments? This is so grammar school. Reg W, you have cooties.

I apologize. I took my comment down because it clearly didn't add anything to the discussion. I wanted only to note that this video was old news and that this same group of readers likely had already seen it.

But I can see I should have just kept my mouth shut.
