How's This? Of Course We Could Have Made it in Photoshop, Too. I Mean, If We're The Only Ones Reading and Writing, Then We've Just Challenged Ourselves For Proof Of Something We Already Faked and Wrote and Read Later On. Oh, It's Dark.

  1. Wait. That's my email.

  2. Is explicitly writing "You are a fucking asshole" is a new sales technique? Thinking it certainly isn't.

  3. To be fair to this representative, this is not the first time he's had sales links zapped from the page.

Perhaps he reached the end of his tether, or at least his sales training.

  4. I love people who claim to be "changing the face of modern academia." Sometimes if you look real close, you can see the old snake skin shedding from out the bottom of their trouser legs.

  5. I don't think that calling names will get your link up, idiot.

  6. Exactly the sort of thing that it's a good idea to delete.

  7. Thank you for saving us from even more junk mail! Why can't they market through a legitimate source by contacting IT on various campuses or going to conferences like regular folk do?

  8. Give this dude posting rights. That is top notch comedy.

  10. Maybe he accidentally bought the "Deranged Man" costume for Halloween and he was just trying to get into character?

  11. +1 on posting rights for this guy. Or at least troll him and publish the results as a weekly series.

  12. HAHAHA

What's hilarious is that one of my schools used [company name redacted] and it was such crap that they abandoned it! The phrase "proprietary educational software that is changing the face of modern academia" is ALL OVER their literature -- he plagiarized himself in your email?!

    Lolz

More Important: Notice the google ad from CM's account. "underwater welding" methinks our underwater basketweaving / hamster fur weaving / kitten knitting is confusing google's ad generator.

    1. Just FYI, underwater welding is a real job skill. That's how they repair ships without having to dry-dock them every time they spring a leak.

    2. I actually have a cousin who works on an oil rig, so I do know that -- I was just noticing that underwater basketweaving probably explains why CM is receiving ads about underwater welding.

    3. I was thinking along the same lines -- also that Fab would probably earn more at said job, but that it's probably also hard, uncomfortable, possibly dangerous work.

    4. ". . . it's probably also hard, uncomfortable, possibly dangerous work."

      And moderating this blog isn't?

  14. Does this software also enable its users to write in the style of honest_prof? If so, it seems to work well....

  15. What puzzles me is that anyone who has spent even 5 minutes reading the page would think that an endorsement of labor-saving software would meet with anything but outright ridicule, ribaldry, mocking, etc., etc. here. There seems to be a failure of reading comprehension (of both text and the nature of a social group) involved.

  16. While many sales courses neglect the sales process altogether, Sandler Training is centered on it. We engage the sales process and begin by assessing your team's current skill sets. We build on those skills by introducing new skills, then having your team practice those skills until they become second nature. We'll teach you how to make your prospect feel in control of the sale, which leads to a faster results and higher closing rates. Click here to know more about Performance Improvement Plan

  17. Let me guess: the comment by ellyhower is a parody of the spammer practice of failing to read (and comprehend) the blog's comments and therefore completely missing the target audience. I DO know that I won't click any of elly's links to find out, preferring to remain in blissful ignoreance.

I also know that I remember companies that spam blog comments as ones that I won't do business with. Congratulations, elly, on narrowing my choices for me should I ever be in need of a product like yours, which I doubt I'll ever be.
