  1. Now you know why I keep saying that parents these days don't hit their kids enough.

    1. They called him "cheeky monkey," but they dared not spank him.

  2. I know this is just phase 2 of CM, but your presentation is going downhill. This story is just the URL link? Are you busy?

  3. "Sortland had a blanket, a cell phone and a box of Wheat Thins with him."

Sounds to me like he was about to attempt some sort of ingenious MacGyver-like escape, and he needed some binder to make the crushed wheat thins into a paste.

And as one commenter on the article has already pointed out, "Insane Masturbatory Rampage" sounds like a juggalo tribute band. A bad one.

    1. Are there good juggalo tribute bands?

    2. Could be worse...due the effect of having kids I read that as "Gruffalo tribute bands".

  4. I spent several long moments trying to figure out who Bad Molly was. She sounded like a girl I used to know in college. She took me on a few insane rampages, but no masturbatory ones.

    1. Red Molly is a character in a Richard Thompson song.

    2. My Bad Molly was actually named Molly. She was a biology grad student when I was a math grad. She took me on more than a few copulatory rampages, some more insane than others.

I still have a slight wobble to my step some 20 years later. Let's just say she really knew what she was doing.

  5. Sorry for the lousy presentation, but I put that up from the deck of a fucking fairy. Please to enjoy.

    1. Ferry, I hope.

I like the presentation of this article. What summary would do it justice? I can't think of anything you could say that adds to the story. This one stands alone. The plain web address, rather than text with the link, signifies the crazy, raw nature of the student's adventure. Even the lack of labels for the post made sense - do we even have labels that describe this? "Stupid student" falls so short. To be honest, I figured you meant to post it this way.

    2. Good grief. Ferry! A heteronormative mode of transport. The misery of voice dictation!!

    3. The presentation worked for me. And since my first mental reference for "fairy" is a diaphanous creature drawn by Arthur Rackham or maybe Cicely Mary Barker, I had some fun trying to conjure up a visual of "the deck of a fucking fairy." Rackham could handle that, I think, in a pinch, Barker not so much.

    4. I'm with Cassandra. The visual imagery for me was just as she described.

    6. Presentation worked for me only b/c I saw so many people had commented, but I think some stories don't need any explanatory text accompanying them. I didn't even care back when we used to post stories without our input on them (remember that long discussion about linked articles?). :)

Hope the duck was with you on the ferry. :)
