Old VidShizzles.

Oh, there was a time way back when the vidshizzle ruled (originally vid-shiz-eo). Anyway, Cal made most of them. This first one goes back more than 7 years, and has - for me at least - at least 9 solid truths and 3 belly laughs. And, shit, that's pretty good.

Certainly there will be a few folks here who were not around for the early clips, and maybe a couple of us are old enough to have forgotten them so it'll seem fresh anyway.

  1. That's 7 years ago? Holy shit. What have I been doing with my life?

  2. It would be even funnier if I didn't see myself in that video.

    2. Yep. Ask me about apostrophes, or commas, or where to place which elements of a citation (or just do it wrong), and you'll probably get a similar result. Perhaps a somewhat more animated one, mind you, but not necessarily in a good way.

    3. Cal, I am doing well. I hope you have a great, gluten-free Thanksgiving!

I am generally happier now because eggnog is my favorite time of the year.

  3. Apparently they've posted an updated version. New tie, same dead-inside soul.

    2. But he appears to have stolen the shirt of a considerably larger/taller man sometime in the interim. Hope all drifters in the area are accounted for.

    3. I guess I'm guilty in part by reposting this, but I'm a little confused by this fellow. Is THIS the guy the company chose to represent whatever math system / software / tutoring service they have? I have no doubt his mother loves him, and maybe tons of other people, but he's no dynamo. I guess I was expecting a cross between Joel Osteen, Tony Robbins, and Russel Crowe (not as the math genius, just Russel Crowe. Mrs. Fab has a thing for Crowe. Oh, don't ask me.)

    5. I'm not sure whether they've always been right-justified,but something looks different. Did they used to wrap around the avatar image?

    6. "have comments always been right justified?"

A1: No, some have been totally unjustified, like that time one of the Anonymouses was trolling blah blah blah...

A2: No, but in the current political climate, all kinds of heretofore inscrutable things have been newly empowered to let their right-freak-flags fly.

A3: Yes, it's always been that way. Never been different. Don't believe anyone who tells you different; they're just gaslighting you. I alone speak the truth.
